Black Sun Empire - 2017 Press Kit

During my internship at Regime / Rutger Prins I created a press photo that represents the Drum And Bass producers trio. For this I illustrated elements of an imaginary music production interface and projected it onto their faces. I composed the final image out of 10 different photos. Black Sun Empire has since been using the image extensively for, among other things, promoting events.

Black Sun Empire - The Wrong Room

When I did my internship at Regime / Rutger Prins I had the chance to participate in creating artwork for Black Sun Empires album „The Wrong Room“. One of the major challenges was to build from scratch a fully functional, waterproof studio.

For months we experimented with water and paint in this self built room. These experiments leading up to a sophisticated routine in combination with high speed flashes made possible the amazing amount of detail in the final image. I helped with building the room, concept development, photographing and editing.

Machtig - 10 Jaar

During my internship at Regime / Rutger Prins in 2017 I created a poster for the 10 year anniversary of Machtig, which is a bimonthly Drum & Bass event in Groningen, NL hosted by Noisia. I made the photos featured in the poster especially for this purpose.
